Crusaders, Sharks to play at Twickenham

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — The Canterbury Crusaders will play their Super 15 sixth-round rugby match against South Africa's Sharks at London's Twickenham stadium, the franchise said Wednesday.

The Crusaders have been unable to play on their home ground, AMI Stadium in Christchurch, since last month's deadly earthquake hit the South Island city. The team has since played two home matches at Trafalgar Park in Nelson, a ground with a capacity of little more than 10,000.

Canterbury sought to play the Sharks at Twickenham on March 26 but their request was initially declined by England's Rugby Football Union because the match clashed with a home game for the London club …
